Zeaxanthin
Yellow plant pigment which belongs to the group of carotenoids. Research indicates that it protects against certain eye diseases like age-related macular degeneration and cataract.
Zinc (Zn)

Test fluid consisting of a 0.1 % solution of zinc sulphate in distilled water. Can detect zinc deficiency in the body and may be used as a zinc supplement. It is used as a treatment for anorexia.
