Cetyl Myristoleate is effective in both its water- and fatty phase. It is used for relieving muscle stiffness and making joints more flexible. It reduces friction in the joints and inflammation and this reduces the sensation of pain. CM is also said to be able to regulate a wrongly coded immune system by deleting the memory of the T cells. That is why CM is useful for auto-immune diseases.

It is also recommended to avoid or reduce the consumption of drinks containing carbonic acid, juice from citrus fruits, sugar, alcohol, and caffeine during the period in which taking a supply of CM, since these substances counteract the absorption of CM.

Cetyl Myristoleate is non-toxic and without side effects but since it is a fatty acid some people might experience mild and transient symptoms from the alimentary canal.
