Generally strenghtens the mucosa in the respiratory passages, intestines, and bladder.
Dosage
3 ml. once a day, slightly diluted, in connection with meals. Dosage can be increased to 5 ml. twice a day, and this may be needed in case of violent or long-term diarrhoea.
Precautions
Should not be taken by pregnant women.
Further fortification
The reasons for diarrhoea should of course be clarified before the Althea Complex treatment. But whether it is a chronic intestinal disease or a passing condition, in many cases, the herbal extract can help relieve the problem.
Avoid
Foods that have a laxative effect or that may irritate the mucosa further;
Fresh fruit (especially prunes), raw vegetables which some people find hard to digest, and coffee that has a laxative effect and generally irritates the intestines.
Maybe you should also avoid other dietary supplements for a month in order not to load the digestion with the decomposition of many different nutrients, which the system is not familar with. However, in the long run, you need a good vitamin- and mineral status to digest the food properly and to rebuild a healthy intestinal system.
You should consider contacting a nutrionist, a biopath, phytotherapist, or the like, if you feel no clear recovery in a fortnight.
