Silicon hydride powder is another name for the product Microhydrin which is based on silica hydride. It is an alkaline substance with a strong antioxidant effect.
Microhydrin takes part in the energy production in the cells, and the substance oxidizes the cells. Studies have shown that Microhydrin protects the body from free radical damage and increases the uptake of nutrients in the cell.
Double-blind crossover and non-crossover studies have shown that Microhydrin is the most effective antioxidant, and the protection against free radicals in people who take Microhydrin for some weeks is increased by 43%. Other studies revealed that Microhydrin is capable of finding and neutralizing hydroxyl and superoxide radicals, which are the most harmful of the free radicals.
