The leaves, gathered in the spring, gives the most effective herbal tea to promote a healthy pregnancy. Used by women of all ages to counteract abdominal problems and help to
normalize periods.
The tea can also be used as a gargle against inflammation or infections in throat and mouth. It can even be used as an eye tonic.
Dosage: 2 to 8 g. of dried leaves in cold extract tea 3 times daily.
Warning for pregnant women
Raspberry leaves should not be taken during the first three months of pregnancy.
Raspberries:
Good for diarrhoea, female hormone disturbances, morning sickness, hot flushes, and menstrual cramps.
Strengthens the urinary tract and reduces menstrual bleeding. Good for nails, bones, teeth, and skin.
Note
Large doses may disturb the absorption of iron.
