Side effects
Sacred bark has no side effects at the recommended dosage.
Interactions
The bark should not be taken with digitalis glucosides (which are used in heart medicine).
Warnings
- Should not be used by pregnant or nursing women
- Pause using sacred bark after one weeks use
- Use over longer periods can be addictive
- Overdosing can lead to cramping and diarrhoea.
