St. John's Wort Complex does not have the side effects which can accompany other drugs with St. John's Wort, because in this mixture all of the parts of the plant which are above ground have been used, in stead of just using a single active ingredient which is the most common procedure.
Dosage
3 ml. a day in a little water in connection with meals. The dosage can without problems be increased to 5 ml. twice a day.
Precautions
Should not be used during pregnancy or in case of acute infections since Eleutherococcous senticosus may stimulate fever and extend the period of illness needlessly.
In case of severe depression the treatment should only be used in consultation with a doctor or a phytotherapist.
Can cause sensitivity to light. Should not be used together with an antidepressant.
The dosage should always be followed unless you have been informed otherwise, e.g. by the label on the bottle.
Further fortification
In case of depression and melancholy, the body uses more vitamins and minerals than it does usually.
Sleep is a precondition for high spirits during the day.
You can supplement with Humulus Complex for the night.
Make sure to eat many small meals, so that you can obtain a balanced blood sugar level and lessen the risk of an unstable mood.

St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum): 25 ml.
Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia): 25 ml.
Siberian ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus): 25 ml.
Also added 25 ml. of glycerol to enhance the flavour. A total of a 100 ml.
