Verbena Complex helps the child digest its food and supports the formation of a healthy microflora.
Dosage
10 drops twice daily for babies between 0 and 1 year. 20 drops twice daily for children between 1 and 3 years. A teaspoonful twice daily for children over 3 years. Dropping tubes or pipettes are available at pharmacies.
Precautions
The child should be examined by a doctor for the cause of its symptoms. If no acute or chronic medical disease which should be treated by a doctor are found, Verbena Complex can safely be used.
Further fortification
In case of colic, a visit to a paediatric chiropractor may be worthwhile. Quite often the cause is irritation of the nerves running between the spinal cord and the intestines.
This irritation can originate from twisting of the thoracic vertebra during delivery. If your child prefers to lie on one side, always feeds from the same breast or turns its head to a particular side, it could be the signs of a crooked back.
Baby massage is another option. Ask e.g. The National Childbirth Trust if they know any competent masseurs who can instruct you in how to massage your child, since the direction of massage of the child's tummy is quite important.
Reflexology is another option combined with lactic acid bacteria, which can improve the child's microflora.
Several naturopaths have specialized in the treatment of children. Read e.g. the book "The Better Pregnancy Diet" by Liz and Patrick Holford.

Peppermint (Mentha piperita): 20 ml
Camomile (Chamomilla recutita): 20 ml
25 ml of glycerol has been added as a flavouring ingredient. Contents: 100 ml.
